Vancouver Island Filipino-Canadians Celebrate 117th Philippine Independence Day
The Filipino community of Vancouver Island, led by the Victoria Filipino Canadian Association celebrated the 117th anniversary of Philippine Independence Day by way of a gala dinner and dance at the Inn at Laurel Point on Friday, June 12, 2015. The event cost more than in previous years but the seats were sold out, with 149 guests all together. Well done!
