In 2001, The Bayanihan Cultural & Housing Society (BCHS) purchased a property in downtown Victoria and opened the doors to the Philippine Bayanihan Community Centre. For 25 years, the centre has been a place where Filipino Canadians and members of the community come together, share culture, and support one another, especially newcomers.
