About Us

The Bayanihan Cultural and Housing Society (BCHS) was incorporated on April 12, 1991 by the Victoria Filipino Canadian Association (VFCA) to focus on acquiring a building for a cultural centre for Filipinos in Victoria.

In 2001, BCHS purchased a property in downtown Victoria and opened the Bayanihan Community Centre for the benefit of the community and to host the activities of the VFCA, Victoria Filipino Canadian Seniors Association (VFCSA), and Victoria Filipino Canadian Caregivers Association (VFCCA).
