Fort Mac One Month donor Update

In early May, a wildfire tore through Fort McMurray, Alberta and its surrounding areas, destroying neighbourhoods and threatening the entire region. More than 80,000 people fled through smoke and fire to reach safety. In the largest wildfire evacuation in the province’s history, many residents left with almost nothing.

Community Roundtable for Temporary Foreign Workers
A round-table for caregivers and temporary foreign workers -- to share their stories and views on "Path to Permanency/Family Back Home", "Immigration Status", "Work Status" and "Workers Rights and Employee Relations" -- was held at Bayanihan Community Centre last Saturday, February 27.
It was organized by the Victoria Coalition in Support of Temporary Workers with the help of VFCA,VFCCA, and VFCSA.
